Whitney Quesenbery

UX researcher, Center for Civic Design.

Whitney Quesenbery is co-director of the Center for Civic Design. Her work in civic design began with her appointment to a US federal advisory committee writing guidelines - including usability and accessibility requirements - for voting systems. She brings her expertise in research methods, accessibility and plain language - and a passion for understanding the story behind the data.

She is the author of 3 books: A Web for Everyone: Designing Accessible User Experience; Storytelling in User Experience and Global UX: Design and Research in a Connected World. She has a masters from The Open University and co-teaches the first ever course in election design at University of Minnesota.
