About this Case Study

As service designers, we make sure that the users we work with are well supported. However, do we put the same level of attention into looking after our own teams, especially when working with sensitive topics?

How prepared are we for the difficult stories we hear? Do they stay with us? How aware are we of things that might resonate with our own experiences? We want people to bring their whole selves to work, but are we really ready for that?

About the Speaker

Anne is a project director at Snook. She is an enabler with a passion for empowering people to achieve their ambitions. From nurturing new skills, fostering access to new technology, breaking down barriers, managing projects and just making things happen, she is on a mission to translate 'specialist speak' into clear messages accessible to all.

Coming from a background in business, Anne aims to get to the bottom of problems, unearth their impact throughout the organisation, design innovative solutions and follow them through until implementation, dissemination and evaluation. She works in the private, public and third sectors.
