If you build it, they won’t come: how can psychology of behaviour change shape service design?

We’re combining user research and service design to identify the challenge of changing user’s behaviour to use a non-mandatory government service. A well designed service alone won't make people use it.

You need to understand the user's current behaviour, motivation and the fact that doing things in a new way is difficult. We'll share the findings that we're using to design our service.
