About the session

What do we need to know when we’re designing and commissioning public services? What data would we need to measure outcomes in these complex spaces? How do we communicate and manage expectations, both of what our services can deliver and what we can usefully measure?  Who needs to be in the room to help us measure what matters to meet user needs and policy intents?

Edafe draws from her experience as a data specialist who has worked with public service design teams in international development, energy regulation, justice, and public procurement to share insights into how and when to bring data people to the service design table.

Her talk will focus on equitable use of data in service design and recommendations on how to best use data for public good.
