How much collaboration is too much collaboration? - lessons from a re-structure

In 2021, Cancer Research UK committed to a product-centric structure and operating model. We followed the formal restructure phase with a transition phase, where we used co-design approaches to understand what this new structure meant for us and we redesigned ways of working in a collaborative, less hierarchical way.

We don't have all the answers but have learned lots about the challenges and benefits of opening up to challenging opinions on the way one's organisation and operating model work.
